During the meeting, he instructed the officers to be given clear information about the progress of work under the CM announcements. Full information should be made available about the work done on the mandate, the works for which DPR has been made and the physical progress of the works. For long-term works, all paper work should be completed by June 15, so that the work can be expedited after the monsoon season. Inspect the officer’s works on a continuous terrestrial tour.
During the review of the irrigation department, he directed the officials that whatever works are being done under the CM announcements. It should be ensured that the work is completed within the stipulated time. Any laxity in the quality of works will not be tolerated. The announcements which are being transferred by the department to other departments should be transferred soon. The responsibility of the officers should be fixed for unnecessary delays in the work. Keeping in mind the summer and the upcoming monsoon, the work should be expedited. To speed up the works, coordination with the District Magistrates should be established. Public representatives should also be supported.
During the meeting of the Education Department, the Chief Minister Shri Tirath Singh Rawat instructed the officials that these schools should be made on the basis of top priority in schools which do not have full provision of drinking water, toilets and furniture. 15 percent budget of the district plan should be spent for various arrangements in schools. It should be ensured that basic facilities are available to children along with quality education.
It was informed in the meeting that out of the 193 CM announcements of the Irrigation Department, 105 announcements have been completed, work is in progress on the remaining. Of the 137 CM announcements of the Department of Education, 103 have been completed, the process is in motion on 34 announcements.
