Chief Secretary Shri Om Prakash reviewed the Badrinath-Kedarnath reconstruction works at the Secretariat on Thursday.
Dehradun Press Note-01(07/01): The Chief Secretary directed the officers that the Kedarnath reconstruction works should be completed within the stipulated time frame. He directed to deploy proper staff for Kedarnath Dham by the Public Works Department by the first week of July, 2021. He was also directed to submit the investigation report of the present condition and strength of the security wall built on the Mandakini river within a month. District Magistrate Rudraprayag said that in Kedarnath, there has been an mandate for the right of Bhumidhari for the concerned persons. The Chief Secretary directed that the process of their mutation should also be completed soon.
Chief Secretary Shri Omprakash also directed to prepare an action plan to complete the works within the stipulated time limit by starting the works to be done in Badrinath Dham in time. He also directed to pay special attention to quality in all the works.
On this occasion Secretary Shri Amit Negi, Shri Dilip Jawalkar, Shri S. a. Murugeshan, Commissioner Garhwal Shri Ravinath Raman, District Magistrates from the respective districts through video conferencing and other senior officers were present.
