Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday reviewed the arrangements made in the Secretariat for the prevention of Kovid. He instructed that vaccination is necessary to protect against Kovid, along with this attention should also be paid to testing. The Chief Minister has also given instructions to ensure all necessary arrangements in view of the possible third wave of Corona.
He said that he would request the central government to arrange additional vaccines. The Chief Minister asked to make adequate number of oxygen, ICU, ventilators and separate wards for children in all district hospitals, CSCs, PSCs. He said that all necessary arrangements in this regard should be ensured by the end of July.
The Chief Minister also asked to pay attention to the maintenance of equipment provided under CSR along with PM Care Fund. Secretary Health Shri Amit Negi apprised the Chief Minister that attention has been paid to the development of health facilities to protect against Kovid. There is sufficient availability of oxygen in the state. The state ranks 5th in the country in vaccination. He informed about the arrangements made in this regard through a comprehensive presentation. He said that doctors as well as paramedical staff have been trained to prevent this. He said that the spread of corona in the state has come down significantly.
