Giving information about the efforts being made by the state government for the prevention of Covid-19 in Uttarakhand, Secretary Health Amit Negi said that more than 7000 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours while about 4800 new cases have come up. While giving information about e-Sanjeevani, Secretary Health has said that 1200 people have consulted free health through e-Sanjeevani yesterday. So far, more than 26 thousand people have taken advantage of e-Sanjivani in the last few days.

He informed that the Covid-19 positive rate has come down from 23 to 15 percent in the state. Sampling is being increased continuously in the state. A sampling of 35 thousand was done in the state yesterday. Secretary Shri Amit Negi said that at present the state’s Covid testing rate is double the national average.

Secretary Shri Amit Negi also stated that since April 1, 2021, according to the Positiveness figures of women and men, 62 percent of the infected are men while 38 percent are women. Apart from this, corona infection is being seen in the youth category in the three categories. He said that in the second wave, 21.9 percent of the infected people are in the age group of 20 to 29 years, 24.2 percent in the age group of 30 to 39 years, 18.5 percent in the age group of 40 to 49 years. Apart from this, after 1 April 2021, the average death rate among people in the age group of 40 to 79 is the highest. He informed that in Corona Death, 17 percent of people aged between 40 and 49 years died, 23 percent of people aged 50 to 59 died, 24 percent of people aged 60 to 69, While 16.42 percent of the deaths occurred between 70 and 79 years of age.

Giving information on the supply of oxygen, the Nodal Officer, Ranjit Sinha said that on oxygen supply in Uttarakhand, we first mapped where the production is going and where and from which district the oxygen will be given. He informed that the supply of 96 metric tonnes of oxygen through 3 big plants is allocated by the Government of India. Apart from this, there is about 70 metric tonnes of production from 6 small units. They can fill 7700 jumbo oxygen cylinders. Filling points have been allocated to all the 13 districts of the state for supply of oxygen at different places through which 167 metric tonnes of oxygen is produced and supplied daily in the state. Apart from this, the Government of India has allocated 60 metric tonnes from other states. So far, 260 metric tons have been received from outside.

Secretary Shri Ranjit Sinha informed that more than 50 metric tonnes of oxygen has been kept in reserve in Garhwal division while 40 metric tonnes of oxygen has been kept in reserve quota in Kumaon division. So that there is no crisis at peak time. Apart from this, small oxygen plants have been installed inside 11 hospitals. Apart from this, work of oxygen plant is going on at 11 new places while 11 have been approved. While the proposal for oxygen plant at 15 new locations is ready. Apart from this, new oxygen tanks are also being planned to increase storage in large hospitals. Shri Sinha informed that in hilly districts 72 hours of oxygen has been kept in the reserve quota while in the plains districts 24 hours of oxygen has been kept in the reserve quota.

While giving information about the action being taken regarding black marketing, IG Amit Sinha said that a case has been registered by raiding fake RT PCR lab in Udham Singh Nagar district, while taking action in case of overcharging in ambulances and hospitals. Is going

While giving information, DIG SDRAF Riddhim Aggarwal said that SDRAF has adopted 20 villages for prevention of Covid infection. The SDRAF is conducting yoga exercises in the quarantine centers in the village. Necessary medicines and supplies are being made available to people living in home isolation. Apart from this, special publicity for public awareness is being disseminated by SDRAF.
